Much attention is needed to address where family law and real estate intersect. The legal, real estate/lending and financial professions are disconnected and divorcing clients real estate matters often need to be handled different than the traditional real estate sale/transaction. Amanda does a deep dive course with attendees to provide a simplified resource with a better understanding of the real estate matters in a divorce or civil dissolution. The goal is to provide a higher level of service to the clients, helping to minimize the conflict that arises regarding real estate matters, write better orders/agreements, avoid undiscovered risks through detection of pitfalls earlier in the process and help the parties navigate the decision of what to do with the house to ensure the best possible outcome. Attendance of this course is encouraged for attorneys, mediators and family law judges and will help open pathways, educate and share best practices in order to better serve the family law community and in turn the families who are experiencing these life changing matters.
And since divorce and financial pitfalls often go hand in hand, Amanda can provide guidance on foreclosure avoidance.
